This is a wonderful book by my friend, Tim Wong. If you recall, Mr. Wong’s wife, Mrs. Connie Wong, used to serve at CAIS in the Shek Kip Mei Library. The illustrator is Mrs. Anna Goh who also used to teach art at CAIS. Mr. Wong recalls the times he was harsh on his son, and realizes that the best gift he could give is really the gift of time. This is a poignant reminder to both parents and children to treasure the times we have together. The narrative is formed by rhyming verses, kind of like an extended poem.
